Swipe Vibe alternative for iPhone (pre-release)

Swipe Vibe is a small Android swipe cleaner. PhotoSwipe is the iPhone version of that gesture, still on the waitlist. Here is what the Play listing says, and what you can do free today.

Esta página está en inglés. La traducción completa llegará más adelante.

PhotoSwipe is pre-release and not on the App Store. The table is product intent next to Swipe Vibe’s public Google Play listing, not an audited feature comparison. Check the live listing before you install anything. Last updated: September 2026.

Swipe Vibe is Android. This page is for iPhone.

The names get mixed up with Swipe Wipe. They are different apps. Below is a fair read of the public Swipe Vibe listing as of September 2026, plus the free iPhone cleanup you can do before any waitlist.

Who looks for a Swipe Vibe alternative

Most of these searches come from a short list. Someone saw a Tinder-style photo cleaner, liked the gesture, and wants the same idea on iPhone. Someone else is tired of ads in a gallery app. A third group mixed up the name with Swipe Wipe, the much larger iOS cleaner, and landed on the wrong product.

Swipe Vibe and Swipe Wipe are not the same app. Swipe Wipe is the well-known iPhone cleaner people compare when they say “swipe to delete photos.” Swipe Vibe is a separate, small Android app on Google Play. If you meant the iOS one, use the Swipe Wipe alternative page. This page is about Swipe Vibe.

PhotoSwipe is an iPhone photo cleaner on the waitlist. It is not an Android port of Swipe Vibe, and it is not on the App Store yet. If you need space back tonight, use the free tools for your phone below and treat any third-party cleaner as optional.

What the Swipe Vibe listing actually says

We checked the public Google Play listing for Swipe Vibe: Clean Photos Fast (package com.swipevibe.swipevibe, developer name FALMOR) in September 2026. Treat store copy as the developer’s claims, not as a lab test. Listings change.

The listing describes a free photo cleaner with ads. You swipe to keep or delete photos and videos, in the same spirit as a dating-app card. The description also says the app uses a pop-art look, has no AI features, can share photos, and is meant to be lightweight. The page was updated 7 March 2026. The public install count on that check was 50+. The category shown was Video Players & Editors, which is an odd shelf for a gallery cleaner.

The Play data-safety form, filled in by the developer, says no data is collected and no data is shared with third parties. We did not audit the app binary, the ad SDKs, or the privacy policy. A form is a claim. If you install it, read the current data-safety panel and the linked privacy policy yourself before you grant gallery access.

We did not find an iPhone App Store app under this name when we looked. If you are on iPhone, Swipe Vibe is not the download. PhotoSwipe is the iPhone product we are building, and it is still pre-release.

  • Platform on the listing: Android (Google Play), not iPhone.
  • Price on the listing: free, and the page says it contains ads.
  • Gesture: swipe to decide what to keep and what to delete, including videos.
  • Sorting help: the description says there is no AI. You review the gallery yourself.
  • Privacy: developer-declared “no data collected.” Not independently verified here.
  • Scale: a small public install count as of September 2026, so support and longevity are unknown.

Where Swipe Vibe fits, and where it does not

It fits a narrow job. You are on Android, you want a free swipe gesture, and you accept ads in exchange for not paying. The listing does not promise duplicate detection, blur detection, screenshot albums, or a review pile before delete. If those are missing in the build you install, that matches the “no AI, just swipe” pitch. Simple can be a feature.

It does not fit an iPhone camera roll. Apple’s Photos library, Recently Deleted, iCloud Photos, and Live Photos are a different system. An Android gallery cleaner cannot run that cleanup.

It is also a weak fit if gallery access plus ads makes you nervous. Full photo access is a large permission on any phone. Ads are not automatically a privacy breach, but they are a reason to check which SDK is on screen while your pictures are open. If the listing stays vague, skip it.

Honest limit on our side: PhotoSwipe cannot replace Swipe Vibe for Android users today, and we are not promising an Android version. If you only have an Android phone and you like the gesture, Swipe Vibe is one free option to try, or you can stay inside Google Photos and delete there.

Free cleanup on Android before any swipe app

Google Photos can clear a lot without a third-party cleaner. Open Google Photos, use the free-up-space suggestions if they appear, and delete screenshots, blurry shots, and large videos you do not want. Deleted items usually sit in trash for about 60 days before Google removes them for good. Empty trash only after you scan it.

On the phone itself, check Settings storage and see whether Photos, WhatsApp, or downloads are the real pile. Chat apps often keep a second copy of images inside the app even after you clean the gallery.

If a swipe app is still what you want after that pass, install one, do a short session, and uninstall if the ads or the permission feel wrong. You do not owe a cleaner a permanent home on the phone.

Free cleanup on iPhone (do this first)

If you searched for a Swipe Vibe alternative because your iPhone is full, start in Apple Photos. No install required.

  • Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Photos. Note free GB and how large Photos is.
  • Photos → Albums → Media Types → Screenshots. Multi-select codes, memes, and expired tickets.
  • Photos → Albums → Utilities → Duplicates, when iOS shows it. Merge exact copies.
  • Albums → Media Types → Videos and Screen Recordings. Long clips and old recordings are the usual multi-GB wins.
  • After deletes, open Utilities → Recently Deleted. Items stay about 30 days and still use space until you empty the album or the timer ends.
  • If iCloud Photos is on, deleting on the iPhone also deletes in iCloud. Optimize iPhone Storage frees device space without deleting. Those are different jobs. The iCloud guide covers both.

What PhotoSwipe is building instead

PhotoSwipe is a coming-soon iPhone cleaner with the same core gesture: swipe one way to keep, the other to delete. The product direction adds queues for the clutter Apple’s grid makes slow (screenshots, similar shots, large videos), a review step before you confirm, and on-device keep/delete so a basic cleanup does not need a cloud copy of your camera roll.

Pricing is not final. The principle is free to start, with no wall in the middle of a session just to confirm deletes you already chose. That is intent until the App Store listing exists. Do not treat this page as a price quote.

We are not claiming Swipe Vibe is unsafe, a scam, or a worse version of a feature list we already ship. We do not ship yet. If you need a live iPhone app this week, use Apple’s tools, or judge a live App Store cleaner with the same checklist: paywall timing, on-device processing, and a way to undo.

Side-by-side (intent vs the Play listing)

PhotoSwipe column is what we are building. Swipe Vibe column is what the public listing claimed when we checked it. Neither column is a lab test of a shipped iPhone app.

Swipe Vibe alternative FAQ

Is PhotoSwipe a Swipe Vibe alternative?

For iPhone, that is the intent: swipe to keep or delete, with clutter queues and on-device cleanup. PhotoSwipe is pre-release and iPhone-only for now. It is not an Android replacement for Swipe Vibe.

Is Swipe Vibe the same as Swipe Wipe?

No. Swipe Vibe is a small Android app by FALMOR on Google Play. Swipe Wipe is a separate, much larger iPhone photo cleaner. The names sound alike. They are different products.

Does Swipe Vibe work on iPhone?

The public listing we checked in September 2026 is Google Play for Android. We did not find an iPhone App Store app under this name. Use Apple Photos on iPhone, or a cleaner that actually ships for iOS.

Is Swipe Vibe free?

The Play listing says the app is free and contains ads. We have not bought anything inside it and we have not measured how often ads appear. Check the live listing before you install.

Does Swipe Vibe use AI to find duplicates?

The store description says the app has no AI features. It presents a manual swipe through the gallery, not an automatic duplicate or blur scan.

Can I clean my camera roll without Swipe Vibe or PhotoSwipe?

Yes. On iPhone, use Screenshots, Duplicates, large videos, and Recently Deleted. On Android, use Google Photos trash and the phone’s storage settings. Many people recover real space that way alone.

When will PhotoSwipe be on the App Store?

No public date yet. Join the waitlist for a launch-day note. The free iPhone guides on this site work before that.
